I ordered a carry out. The service was warm and very welcoming and the Pacific fruit salad was FANTASTIC. I'll definitely be back.

I've been going to Honey Tree for years. When the owner of this location used to be in Sterling Heights. I have eaten at this Rochester Hills location a very long time. I was very disappointed when I was there for lunch today. The tables were dirty, not the no time to clear them off dirty but caked on from someone else s meal dirty. Gross. Then, the Lemon Rice soup used to be thick and full of chicken, the bowl I had was watered down no chicken, to speak of more like a chicken noodle soup... Such a terrible change to a place that I used to go out of my way to eat at. Not anymore.

I felt very rushed and didn't feel welcomed at all. The waitress only came by twice. Once to get my order and once to give me the bill. Needless to say, it was very much lacking and left a lot to be desired. The saving grace to me was that the food was very fast and it was very good.

Every time I've tried Honey Tree I've been disappointed. I realize it's just like a Coney Island and I shouldn't expect anything more then just the basics but it's just so sloppy here. I mean they tried passing cut up French fries as hash browns and were surprised that I asked them to take it back. The waitresses never seem that busy but yet have a difficult time giving me a refill. All the carry outs I've gotten are cold and and seem like it was just slapped together. I mean it's just small things they could do to improve but don't care to.

Great food for the cost. Gets really busy around lunch time though and they seem to be disorganized with checking customers out. Other than that, I've never had a bad meal there.

Better than most all coney islands, the food Is fresh not frozen. We usually get gyros, chicken Caesar wrap, spicy feta dip, grape leaves and be sure to ask for the homemade chips! Chicken lemonata is also great!

I'm not a big connoisseur of Greek food, but I was with a small group who wanted to go so I gave it a shot. The restaurant was clean and well kept. Our waitress was very charming with a great sense of humor, but a short memory. I ordered the chicken schwarma with fries, but she brought me a Greek salad. I eventually got the correct order and I have to say, the schwarma was tasty and the fries were better than in most places. Barring the order mix up and charging me for the salad, it was a good experience.

Went there today for a quick soup Carry out. The soup was chicken noodle. The soup was really hot by the time i got back work. But the noodles were really bad and soft. Mushy. Not the best. No flavor. Usually like this place but not for soup.

I've mulled over what to write for Honey Tree, and I have a few thoughts. For starters, growing up, I've eaten at Honey Tree before, just not at this location before. As a kid I always remember people raving about it, but I never have any memories of what the food was like. Then, over time, I moved away, went to college and forgot about Honey Tree. Since I've been back, I've eaten here a few times, and even though I like the place, I'm just not overly impressed. Why is that you ask? Well, it's for a few different reasons. For starters, I still feel like it's the "grandma" place to go. Not that this determines much, but their image still seems to come off the same way in my head. Granted, they have been around for a long time, but nothing has really changed here. On the good side, they have a great menu and the prices are decent for what you get. Burgers, Gyros, full breakfast menu along with a few other options as well. They pretty much run the gamete on "there's something for everyone" here. The staff is always friendly and welcoming when I eat here, and the food portions are good for what you get. The last time I was here, I went with a chili omelet and it was really good. I was barely able to finish it and I was utterly starving. Overall, I would return, it's just not on my short list of places to eat breakfast at. Like I said, it's not bad, I just can't think of a good reason to drive here, when I have other options that are closer, serve similar or better style food, and seem to be busier....

My mom, brother and I walked into the eerily quiet Honey Tree Grille at about 2pm today (a Saturday) and despite the lack of business, we were not greeted whatsoever. The owner was near the entrance speaking with two women who were on their way out, and saw us blatantly standing behind them waiting to be sat. After an unusual amount of time, he finally looked at us and nonchalantly said "You can have a seat somewhere," when we are usually sat by a hostess. There were only two other tables sat, so we were excited for (hopefully) quick service to make up for the cold greeting. Our waitress, Elena, promptly came to our table with menus and took our drink orders. Unfortunately, instead of getting our drinks, Elena headed straight to one of the other tables and began loudly complaining about her personal life. As I mentioned before, the restaurant was almost completely silent, so her yelling was extremely audible and unprofessional. Not only that, but she did not get our drinks until about 10 minutes later. She brought our drinks and took our orders, and surprise-- she did not immediately ring our orders in, but returned to the two men to continue complaining. Mind you, at this point it is only my family and the two men left in the restuarant. After 5 more minutes of listening to her whining across the restaurant, we saw her ring in our orders. The food was ready within 15 minutes, but Elena messed up my brother's order (a simple cheeseburger) and shoved our plates at us instead of setting them on the table. She never asked how our food was or if we needed anything else, and we did not see her again until she brought the bill, so my brother was left with the wrong order. The food was average, nothing special or worth dealing with the unprofessionalism for. Overall not the best experience, and judging by other reviews, their quality of service needs some serious work.

Go here for breakfast with friends maybe twice a month. Excellent food, prompt service and friendly people. We tend to stay and chat with our friends and never feel rushed even after our meal is over.

I've been to Honeytree a few times because I work close to it. This time my co-workers and I ordered some take out. Nothing really complicated on the order. When we brought the food back to my office, I took my greek salad out of the bag and opened the container and to my surprise it was a caesar salad DRENCHED in dressing. To be honest I thought they had accidentally given me someone elses leftovers. I did not eat the salad because it wasn't what I ordered. I called to let them know about the mistake, thinking they would simply apologize and refund the order, they said there is no way that happened. I'm not sure why they would think I would take time and call them about a salad if it was correct. They did not offer to refund my meal and they basically said "tough luck" in not so many words. For the record- they're food is typically pretty good. I was just not impressed at all with the customer service. Probably won't go back after this.

Honey Tree is a superb little eatery located in a plaza that's prime for a quick lunch or casual breakfast. Always seated promptly, and the service staff is quite knowledgeable on menu offerings, which is Mediterranean with a new- American flare. Never had a bad meal at Honey Tree, they keep it simple and deliver well seasoned food that will keep you coming back. I must comment on their Greek Dressing, its absolutely the best you will ever have, guaranteed. Modestly priced, I recommend this place any day of the week.

Real gyro meat, not the prepackaged frozen junk. "The best" Greek salad with chicken really is. Every time I've been here I've had a great experience. I can't say anything bad about the place at all. It's clean, friendly staff, and fast service.

I really, really wanted to like this place a lot. I was in town for work and I wanted to have a pleasant, tasty dinner by myself. I got there early - a little after five - and immediately felt a little awkward because there was only one other table occupied and everyone looked at me when I came in. But okay. I ended up getting the spanakopita and tabouli salad. The spanakopita was okay but, seriously, I could only force myself to eat half of the tabouli salad. And I love tabouli salad. What was the problem? SALT. If anyone in the kitchen had tasted it, they would have thrown it out and started over. It was grossly salty. My tongue was burning from the salt. So so sad. Three cheers for my server Mina, though. He was helpful and gracious - just what a good server should be. Too bad the food here can't be Mina'd!

I really like this place a lot. It is our go to when our family wants some place reasonably priced and quick. Their salads are always spot on. I took away a star for the wait service. There is one waitress there that always messes up my eat in or take out orders, and has for the last year, enough to make me want a different waitperson whenever I see her. The other servers are amazing though!
